UTV Motion Pictures’ action packed, KAMINEY has generated more than 33 crores in its first weekend at the worldwide box office. KAMINEY debuted in theatres on 14th August and despite not being able to play in markets like Mumbai, Pune, Thane and Navi Mumbai it has shot past the 30 crore mark at the box office in just 3 days, becoming the director’s and leading cast’s biggest hit ever.
It has been the 2nd biggest opening of the year in India (without Mumbai, Thane and Pune), 2nd biggest opening of the year in the US and the UAE, Biggest opening of the year in Pakistan, one of the highest openings of the year in Australia.
