Pooja Chopra, hails from Pune, aged 24 years was brought by her mother Neera Chopra with lot of financial and emotional difficulties as her father left their family in her early years.
Neera Chopra the mother of Pooja Chopra recollects that when Pooja was eight months in her womb, her husband brought a girl to the house and announced that he would marry her.
When Pooja was born, there was nobody to visit her and to see the child. The squadron leader's wife who was there in the opposite bed shared some clothes for the baby, and she has never seen her husband later.
She is now India's Latest Beauty Queen and has been representing the Miss World 2009 competition to be held in South Africa in December 2009.
