If King Khan could do it, why not Trisha? That’s what one may ask, but Trisha seems to be thinking on different lines.
Shah Rukh Khan’s tele-serial ‘Circus’, which was aired on Door Darshan much before he became a Bollywood star, was re-telecast after SRK became a big name in films. And King Khan didn’t seem to mind it at all.
Anyway, former Miss Chennai has strong objections to a popular Tamil channel which plans to re-telecast a serial of hers.
The soap was first telecast when Trisha was struggling to get a foothold in Kollywood. But now that Trisha is in the big league of actresses, the television channel is bent on making the most of this and has already started beaming promos, describing it as ‘dream girl Trisha’s first-ever television serial’.
Trisha, who has in her kitty big films like ‘Sarvam’ with Arya and an untitled film with Vishal, feels that the serial could do more harm than good to her career. She is reportedly doing all she can to scuttle the efforts of the channel both legally and by behind-the-scene efforts.
